La Colorada is an underground primary silver mine producing silver-rich lead and zinc concentrates from a flotation plant treating sulphide ore.

Pan American Silver is advancing an expansion of the La Colorada mine following strong exploration drill results to the east and southeast of the current vein mine operations and the discovery of the La Colorada Skarn deposit in 2018. The development plan has the potential to position La Colorada as one of the largest and lowest-cost silver mines in the world. For more information, see:
