Jacobina is an underground mine producing gold doré through a conventional leaching process. The mine has 7 mining zones and extends over approximately 8km of strike length with further extensions planned over the life of mine. Ore is fed into a central processing facility. The operation has a large resource base, a history of replacing reserves and excellent exploration potential.

A comprehensive optimization program is underway, targeting long-term operational efficiency and potential throughput expansion.
