We are looking for a proactive professional to join us as an Environmental Analyst in our Environmental team at Pan American Silver Corp., reporting to the Manager, Environment. The incumbent will support the team with data collection & analysis, information review, environmental initiatives across the company, as well as learn about the environmental management and practices of the Company. Major Responsibilities

• Support in mine closure projects, update annual mine reclamation liability/financial modeling, cost and progress tracking and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining and improving the environmental data management systems.
• Assist in preparation of reports to senior management, compiling information from the mine sites.
• Assist in collecting and analyzing environmental information to develop corporate reporting and sustainability strategies.
• Research environmental practice and reporting trends globally and within the Company’s peers in the mining industry.
• Support the team with administrative functions, such as document control, data requests, team communication and coordination.
• Support mine operations compliance with corporate and international sustainability standards, including “Towards Sustainable Mining” and “Responsible Gold Mining Principles”.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of environmental standards and practices.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in an engineering, science or other relevant program, or relevant experience.
• Collaborative, attentive to detail, self-motivated and keen to learn.
• Strong analytical skills with a curious mindset.
• Organized with the ability to work effectively independently and in a team.
• Open to travel with a desire to learn new cultures and collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Beneficial Skills (not explicitly required):

• Exposure to/experience in the mining industry.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Experience with programming, project management, and/or GIS.
• Knowledge of Latin American culture.

Salary Range:

$55,000-$67,000, plus competitive benefits package.
